Lauren Abramowitz, GIA GG and jewelry expert, will give a history of Tiffany & Co. and describe the quality, packaging and markings that help one identify true Tiffany merchandise. Abramowitz will bring examples of forgeries, original Tiffany packaging and authentic pieces for you to inspect.

While working for Tiffany, she was an award-winning employee and studied gemology at GIA, earning her GG in 2008. She also holds degrees from the Fashion Institute of Technology, the State University of New York at Albany and a Master’s of Science from Long Island University. Abramowitz has volunteered as a member of the Women’s Financial Group Advisory Council and with the Phoenix Zoo Auxiliary. She maintains her membership in the GIA and FIT Alumni Associations and is a member of the International Society of Appraisers and the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers.
