“More 100 Carat Diamonds in the Last 10 Years Than in the Previous 100” – GIA Senior Industry Analyst Russell Shor will present on the advances in mining technology.
Saturday, October 28, 11:00 a.m.:
“Building Gem Knowledge in African Artisanal Mining Communities” – Robert Weldon (GIA GG), Director of the Richard T. Liddicoat Library and Information Center, will talk about the GIA Gem Guide.
Sunday, October 29, 11:00 a.m.:
“About GIA (Gemological Institute of America)” – Craig Danforth, Director of Global Business Development, will talk about GIA’s gemstone research, education and laboratory services since 1931 for consumers and professionals.
This is open to the gem and jewelry trade. Public admission is on Saturday and Sunday with activities for kids. Tickets are available at the door and online.
