The GIA Alumni Association invites you to join us for a conversation with Matt Hall, vice president, lab operations at GIA, and Cathryn Ramirez, director of global business development at GIA, on GIA’s newly launched Diamond Origin Report. A reception will immediately follow the discussion.
Matt Hall holds a Master of Science in geochemistry from University of Maryland. He started his career at GIA in 1999, researching HPHT and irradiation treatments on colorless and colored diamonds. Hall is GIA’s VP of laboratory operations of Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Cathryn Ramirez is GIA’s director of global business development. Ramirez’s past experience includes almost three decades of leadership at Tiffany & Co. as group director and vice president of the southwest region and working at her family’s 125-year-old jewelry business. She earned a B.A. in Marketing from the University of Texas and is a GIA Graduate Gemologist®.
