6:00 p.m. London, GMT
Virtual
Presenter: Édéenne
Join the London Chapter for a conversation with Édéenne, the only Canadian woman to work in the world of Haute Joaillerie in Place Vendôme in Paris.
In this highly inspirational talk, Édéenne will take us on the journey of how she managed the impossible. She reinvented her life in her mid-40s after a diving accident and established her House in the circles of Parisian High Jewelry, in a world dominated by men and established jewelry houses.
Édéenne’s work has been exhibited throughout the world and in 2013, she was commissioned to create the collection commemorating the 400th anniversary of the high jewelry house Mellerio dits Meller. In 2015, Éric Valdieu in Tribune des Arts (Genève) acknowledged her as one of the four women who have been key figures of the history of High Jewelry since 1900. Édéenne has also created pieces for Lane Crawford, the luxurious department store in Hong Kong.
