Film Night at GIA in Bangkok: The French & Swiss Jewellers

GIA’s next Gemstone Gathering is Jan. 25

BANGKOK – Jan. 10, 2017 – GIA will host an exclusive screening of “The French & Swiss Jewellers,” a captivating episode in the documentary series Masters of Dreams, on Jan. 25 as part of its regular Gemstone Gathering in Bangkok. Attendees will go on a breathtaking journey into the world of three famous jewelry houses – Boucheron, Chaumet and Chopard.
 
Masters of Dreams is a four-part documentary series that goes behind-the-scenes with 13 of the world's most legendary jewelry houses. From Paris to New York, London to Bali, and Milan to Rio, the series offers a behind-the-scenes look at the world of fine jewelry, filled with famous families, gemstone hunters and some of the world’s most innovative designers. The series is produced by French Connection Films in partnership with Quasar Multimedia and Current Affairs Hambrook Communications.
 
Following the screening, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a short quiz with prizes. This is the GIA Gemstone Gathering’s fourth and final screening from Masters of Dreams. Previous screenings include “The English & South African Jewellers,” “The Jewellers of the Americas” and “The Italian Jewellers” episodes.
 
GIA’s Gemstone Gathering, a free event, begins at 6 p.m. on Jan. 25 in the “Crowne Room 1-3” on the 21st floor of the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Lumpini Park in Bangkok.
