Elizabeth Gaines Zoutendyk
Elizabeth began her career in the gem and jewelry industry more than ten years ago as a professional silversmith in a small production studio, where she created limited runs of designer jewelry. She continued to grow her bench skills by working as a goldsmith and stone-setter in a 100-year-old fine jewelry store. Elizabeth also has significant experience as an educator and jewelry program manager including teaching collegiate classes, professional development courses, and workshops at a variety of art institutes. An accomplished designer, Elizabeth’s work has appeared in Metalsmith magazine, in Schiffer Books, and has been displayed in a number of national and international exhibits. Elizabeth earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Metals and Jewelry Design from Kendall College of Art and Design.
