“I believe that innovation is the number one thing I have to strive for,” says the Philippines-based artist and jeweler Ivan Co. “It’s still the same familiar art that we see out there. I want to see something that has never been done before – something that would bring art to a higher plane.”

Ivan has been pushing the boundaries and co-creating with nature. Ever since leaving the family jewelry business, he has been experimenting and making handmade kinetic art sculptures with precious and semi-precious metals and gemstones, using the gemstones as weights for his pendulums. His sculptures are works of art, mesmerizing and enticing, replicating the awe you might have experienced as a child visiting a science museum. Each piece will move to a different tempo and draw you in, slowing you down almost like a stress-relieving magical, meditative device. His choice of gemstones and combinations will also play in the overall effect. No stone is left unturned.

Join us and see for yourself this incredible experience and learn about Ivan’s process and philosophy. We promise it will not leave you indifferent.

Ivan Co has won a Jewellery Design scholarship at GIA’s Hong Kong campus and has enjoyed significant success outside of his homeland of the Philippines with exhibitions in Singapore, Las Vegas and London.
