Opal Poppy Brooch - Each component of the poppy-inspired brooch consists of varying materials. The center of the flower is comprised of traditional jade, as well as stamens of yellow diamonds. In addition, hand-carved Australian opals embrace the inner parts of the poppy. To imitate raindrops, white diamonds sit atop the delicate petals. From bespoke masterpieces for private clients to his eponymous commercial brand, Fei will share his designer journey, marketing insight and tricks to keep clients coming back for more. His talk will also outline the transition of markets to online platforms.

Fei Liu is an internationally acclaimed jewelry designer. In 2006, he established the eponymous brand, Fei Liu Fine Jewelry. Liu’s jewelry captures the harmonious fusion of his eastern heritage and western techniques. The ethos behind each design is to enhance the individual spirit of women while accenting his aesthetic of color, depth and wearability. Liu’s masterpieces have been lauded, honored and adorned with international awards.
