London based, award-winning designer to the stars, Anabela Chan. You will not mistake her world for any other. It is one of dramatic, dream-like, playful designs using a myriad of colorful gemstones inspired by her travels, exotic birds, animals and fauna.
In this talk, Anabela will share her own experience and journey on becoming a jewelry designer and what led her to focus on ethical sustainability. She will talk about her thoughts on laboratory-grown and mined gemstones and share her recent collaborations with Moyo Gems in Tanzania and Kamoka Pearls in French Polynesia. Stuart Pool of Nineteen48, who is part of the Moyo initiative, will also join the conversation.
