Join Yvonne Jiew, founder of Rockstoc LLC, for a firsthand account about her experience of 14 years in the gem trading business. She will talk about trading with cutters, miners and dealers in some of the most remote parts of the world with a focus on mines in Mogok, Bangkok, Chantaburi and Jaipur.
Originally from Australia, Yvonne Jiew is a global gem sourcer and the founder of Rockstoc LLC based in NYC. She travels around the world buying directly from mines and cutters. She specializes in Burmese and rare stones.
The presentation is followed by an excerpt viewing of “A Gem Trader’s Journey,” a film by Rob Himebaugh, a film by Rob Himebaugh, which will be released in early 2020.
