What’s a “created” alexandrite?
Synthetic alexandrites are generally marketed with the name of the company and the word “created” rather than synthetic. "Laboratory-grown", "laboratory-created", "[manufacturer name]-created" or "synthetic" are all permitted to describe manmade materials in the FTC Guides.
