Shele Letwin

Shele began her jewelry career in retail sales and custom design at her family’s retail store, Andrew’s Jewelers. She then earned a jeweler manufacturing diploma from George Brown College in Toronto and a Jewelry Design certificate from GIA. After graduation, Shele spent 15 years as a jewelry designer for Beni Sung Fine Jewelry and Customgold Manufacturing, winning numerous design competitions, including three DeBeers’s design awards. She also taught jewelry design at George Brown College; was a CAD instructor at Gemvision; and owned GVDesign in Toronto where she provided CAD CAM products and training. Now she brings her vast experience to the GIA in Carlsbad classroom.
