LABORATORY-GROWN DIAMOND REPORTS
GIA laboratory-grown diamond reports includes a full quality assessment for laboratory-grown diamonds on the same scales as the GIA’s grading reports for natural diamonds. The specifications do not correlate to nature’s continuum of rarity. The digital-only reports for laboratory-grown diamonds have a distinct format to fully differentiate them from reports for natural diamonds. The laboratory-grown diamond’s girdle is laser inscribed with "Laboratory-Grown" and the GIA report number.

Add-On Services
GIA Add-On Services give you further information or security for your laboratory-grown diamond. Must accompany a report service or follow-up service. Certain services can be expedited for an additional fee; exceptions will apply.
Personalize your laboratory-grown diamond with any text, symbols, or logos. All laboratory-grown diamond reports include laser inscription of the unique GIA report number and the phrase “Laboratory-Grown” for easy identification.

The AGS Ideal® Report brought to you by GIA is offered as a supplement to any of our natural or laboratory-grown D-to-Z reports. This report provides the unparalleled AGS Light Performance, backed by rigorous science, with GIA’s industry-leading diamond grading reports. This report includes an ASET® Map, which was created to be a visual guide of a diamond’s cut grade. ASET® Map may be omitted upon request. The AGS Ideal® Report is a digital report with a printed version available for an additional charge.

Recheck and Final Observation
Request a reassessment of your diamond's grading results. Service must be requested before the item is returned. Final Observation service only available for Diamond Grading Report. May request recheck service for Diamond Focus Report, special restrictions apply.

Request a re-assessment of your laboratory-grown diamond’s color, cut, clarity, color origin, polish, symmetry, measurements or fluorescence results and a new report will be issued.

Service Restrictions
Must be requested during the time of service before the item is returned. If requested within sixty days after the item is returned, the original report must be submitted and an Update service must be performed prior to the Recheck or Final Observation.
Follow-Up Services
Verify, re-evaluate or update results from your original GIA Report through GIA Follow-Up Services.
Submit your laboratory-grown diamond to be re-graded based on its current conditions. Update service can accompany Add-On services such as Sealing or Inscription where a re-evaluation of the laboratory-grown diamond is required prior to performing the Add-On service.

If your GIA-graded laboratory-grown diamond has been re-cut, submit your laboratory-grown diamond for a Re-Examination. The laboratory-grown diamond will go through the grading process and a new report will be issued.
