SAMPLE PEARL REPORTS

GIA Pearl Reports offer thorough, unbiased analysis in an easy-to-understand format. 

The GIA Pearl Identification Report details the quantity, weight, shape, color, identity (natural or cultured), mollusk (when determinable) they originated from, the environment they formed within (saltwater or freshwater), and any detectable treatments. The report includes a digital image. For any loose, mounted, or strung pearls.

Pearl Identification Report

The GIA Pearl Identification & Classification Report includes all Identification Report information as well as classifications for luster, surface, and matching (if applicable). For any loose, mounted, or strung nacreous saltwater cultured pearls from Pinctada fucata (Akoya), Pinctada maxima (South Sea) and Pinctada margaritifera (Tahitian) pearl oysters.

Sample Pearl Identification & Classification Report

The GIA Cultured Pearl Classification Report Includes a detailed classification of cultured pearl(s) based on the GIA 7 Pearl Value Factors™ (size, shape, color, luster, surface, nacre and matching) as well as a digital image of the submitted item(s). For any loose, mounted, or strung nacreous saltwater cultured pearls from Pinctada fucata (Akoya), Pinctada maxima (South Sea) and Pinctada margaritifera (Tahitian) pearl oysters.
