What if I cannot find the inscription on the girdle?

If you cannot easily find the inscription using the GIA Match iD™, we recommend you take another look under a high-powered microscope. If you use the reflected light in a microscope, it is sometimes easier to see if the inscription has been bleached. Please note that inscription matching will not work for bleached or bruted girdles. You can still verify the validity of a report on Report Check in those instances.
