What is Tracr™?
Tracr is a distributed diamond blockchain platform that traces stones through the value chain.
It combines artificial intelligence and blockchain to trace a diamond from its origin, giving consumers increased assurance of their diamond’s source and authenticity.
What is Provenance, powered by Tracr™?
Provenance, powered by Tracr is supplemental information that verifies stone provenance for D-to-Z natural diamonds registered with Tracr™ and graded by GIA. Diamonds submitted to GIA with a valid Tracr ID will be analyzed to match the polished diamond to its recorded rough, allowing the country of origin of the polished diamond to be determined. The provenance information will be displayed as a separate tab on Report Check and as a comment on the printed report.

How to submit a stone for Provenance, powered by Tracr™
Submit a loose, polished stone for a D-to-Z natural diamond report with GIA, provide the unique 25-character alphanumeric Tracr ID, and request PROV-T service on your memo.
Diamonds must be:
• Registered with Tracr™ and unlocked on the Tracr™ platform
• Loose, natural diamonds
• D-to-Z color
