Acclaimed Hong Kong jewelry artist Wallace Chan’s unique designs premiere in the U.S. with 40 dazzling gem & jewelry pieces at GIA’s museum in Carlsbad. Marked by intricate sculpting, carving and stone setting, the exhibit showcases subjects from nature in fascinating detail with innovative use of titanium with gemstones. A main feature of this jewelry collection is the “Wallace Cut,” an award-winning carving technique invented by Chan that incorporates the elements of cameo, intaglio and gem faceting.
