Our global headquarters is in Carlsbad, California, but we have corporate staff in our offices across the globe.

Our gemology courses (many of which can be taken online) and our jewelry design and bench jewelry courses, are known industry-wide for their comprehensiveness and practical, hands-on approach. Explore a Career in Gemstone Grading
GIA’s diamond and colored stone grading reports are respected industry-wide for their accuracy, reliability and consistency. These reports include information on the identity, quality grade, potential treatments and origin and traceability information of diamonds, pearls and colored stones. These quality assessments are made according to each stone’s internationally-recognized gemology standards, many of which were created by GIA.
