24-Hour Service for U.S. Retailers

Nov. 11, 2020 - Beginning Monday, November 16, 2020 through Monday, December 21, 2020 D-to-Z natural and laboratory-grown diamonds received by GIA at its Carlsbad or New York laboratories from clients in the U.S. will be serviced and returned within 24 hours* of receipt, at no additional charge. Services are limited to Diamond Grading Report, Diamond Dossier®, Laboratory-Grown Diamond Report and Laboratory-Grown Diamond Report - Dossier. Diamonds submitted for the free 24-hour service will automatically be processed and printed without requests for Add-On or Follow-Up services to be eligible.

Reduced Fee for GIA Report Results API Monthly Pricing Plans

April 27, 2020 – Beginning Tuesday, April 28, 2020, through Thursday, December 31, 2020, all monthly volume pricing plans for the GIA Report Results API will be reduced to US $1.00 per month. These plans allow you to lookup GIA Reports up to a maximum volume limit for a set monthly price. Unused lookups do not roll over to the next month. Service limitations apply. Free Updates for Diamond Reports Issued from February 1 to June 1, 2020

August 3, 2020 - Beginning Monday, August 3, 2020, through Thursday, December 31, 2020, GIA will provide, at no additional charge, updates on diamond reports issued from February 1, 2020 to June 1, 2020. We recognize that the “old” dates were due to government lock-downs of our offices and the inability to return the reports to you in a timely manner. Clients will need to return these diamonds with the original grading reports to GIA and we will update the reports with the current date. Submissions for the Update Service must be accompanied by the original report. Service limitations apply. A complete list of eligible services are as follows:

Colored Diamond Grading Report, Colored Diamond Identification and Origin Report, Colored Diamond Identification and Origin Report - Black, Colored Diamond Origin Report, Diamond Grading Report, Diamond Origin Report, Diamond Dossier, Focus Report, and Diamond eReport.

Additional secondary services such as Conversions, Re-Exam Conversions, Same Day Service, and Observations will not be included in the promotional discount and will be in accordance with the published fee schedules.

REDUCED FEE for Diamond Report Updates

August 3, 2020 - Beginning Monday, August 3, 2020, through Thursday, December 31, 2020, GIA will reduce the Update Service fee to 25% of the original grading fee, for natural diamond grading reports dated from January 1, 2019 to January 31, 2020. Submissions for the Update Service must be accompanied by the original report. Service limitations apply. A complete list of eligible services are as follows:
