Campus Safety

GIA is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy campus. As a part of GIA’s reporting requirements, the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act requires the distribution and notice of the availability of an annual campus safety and security report to all current faculty, staff, and students and prospective students. The Annual Safety and Security Report includes statistics on reported crimes that occurred on campus and on public property within or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus for the previous three years. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies on alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, hate crimes and other matters.
