Join the Monterrey Chapter for a meet and greet with Ronald Ringsrud, author of "Emeralds, A Passionate Guide." Ronald Ringsrud will discuss his book which will be available for purchase at the event. He will also provide a general industry update and cover trends from the recent JCK show in Tucson.

Ronald Ringsrud is an independent emerald dealer and the founder of Clayhands, a nonprofit organization that teaches Colombian communities the art of building of adobe and pressed earth houses. Ringsrud is a frequent speaker at gemological symposia in Colombia and the United States, including GIA’s Symposium in 1991 where he presented on Colombian emeralds. He has been featured in Colombian emeralds specials on the Discovery Channel and National Geographic Explorer.
