Karl Shin is the honorary chairman of Hong Kong Jewelry Manufacturers' Association which he founded in the 80s to promote the wellbeing of the gem and jewelry industry. From 1990 - 2000, Mr. Shin was a part of the Jewelry Industry Advisory Committee for the HK Trade Development Council.
