How do you identify the mine or geographical origin?
GIA will only assess polished diamonds for the GIA Diamond Origin programme whose rough has been received in documented, sealed and untampered-with parcels from the mining companies. This process, coupled with GIA’s scientific rough analysis ensures the rough origin is documented properly and assigned its unique identification number.
