I have been selected for federal verification. What does this mean, and what do I next?
The US Department of Education selects approximately one-third of all GIA financial aid students to undergo a verification process. This means that you have to verify the information you originally supplied on the FAFSA form. You must provide documentation for certain information (income, household size etc.) Failure to complete the verification process will result in the cancellation of all financial aid awarded to you.
