Reduced Fee for Diamond Report Updates

18 September 2019 – From Friday, 20 September 2019 to Tuesday, 31 December 2019, any existing GIA natural diamond or laboratory-grown diamond report issued in 2018 and 2019 can be submitted to any GIA laboratory for the Update Service. Stone submissions for the Update Service must be received by GIA within the promotional period to be eligible. The diamonds will be fully reviewed and a new report will be issued with the current date. The reduced fee will be 30% of the normal grading fee for the original service. Submissions for the Update Service must be accompanied by the original report. Service limitations apply. The complete list of eligible services is as follows:

Coloured Diamond Grading Report, Coloured Diamond Identification and Origin Report, Coloured Diamond Identification and Origin Report - Black, Coloured Diamond Origin Report, Diamond Grading Report, Diamond Origin Report, Diamond Dossier, Focus Report, Diamond eReport, Laboratory-Grown Coloured Diamond Report, Laboratory-Grown Coloured Diamond Grading Report, Laboratory-Grown Diamond Grading Report, Sorting-Diamond Grading and Sorting-Dossier.

Additional secondary services such as Conversions, Re-Exam Conversions, Same Day Service, Issue Report Services and Observations will not be included in the promotional discount and will be in accordance with the published price lists.

Stones submitted for this offer cannot be received or returned on weekend days or other dates that GIA is closed. View the full list of GIA closure dates here. Access to a grading report online may take longer than 24 hours. GIA is not responsible for failed, inaccurate, incomplete, late, misdirected or delayed communications or shipments. Proof of sending or shipping does not affect eligibility, which is based solely on prior GIA verification, receipt of submitted diamonds by GIA during the offer period and participation in accordance with these terms. GIA has the right to cancel, terminate or modify this offer if it cannot be completed as planned due to technical failures or other conditions beyond GIA’s control. By participating in this offer, clients agree to be bound by these terms, and that any and all claims, judgements and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with shipping diamonds to all GIA laboratory locations in connection with this offer, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and the client hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental or consequential damages or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. Reduced Fee for Diamond Origin Report

18 September 2019 – From Friday, 20 September 2019 to Tuesday, 31 December 2019, any Diamond Origin Report fee will be the same as the grading fees for Diamond Grading Reports. Submissions of the polished stone for the Diamond Origin Service must be received by GIA within the promotional period to be eligible and must be accompanied by the GIA rough report number. Service limitations apply. The eligible services are the Diamond Origin Report and Coloured Diamond Origin Report.

Secondary services such as Conversions, Re-Exam Conversions, Same Day Service, “Issue Report” services and Observations will not be included in the promotional discount and will be priced in accordance with the published price lists.
