Coloured Diamond Reports & Services Details

Coloured Diamond Reports

GIA coloured diamond reports describe the colour origin and colour grade for natural coloured diamonds. The reports will identify shape and cutting style, carat weight, measurements of the diamond and also if any colour or clarity treatments are present. Multiple security features on GIA coloured diamond reports ensure their authenticity. Reports can include a digital photograph of the diamond upon request.

Add-On Services

GIA Add-On Services give you further information or security for your coloured diamond. Must accompany a Report Service or Follow-Up service. Certain services can be expedited for an additional fee; exceptions will apply.

Same Day Service

Some services may be completed by 4.00 pm on the same day the diamond is received, provided the diamond is received by 10.00 am.

Service Restrictions
Same day services will vary by intake location, so please check availability with your local Client Services Representative.

GIA does not offer the same day service on coloured diamonds that may be considered green, pink or blue in colour. The testing needed to determine the origin of these types of diamonds often takes more time than a same day service time frame allows.
