GIA’s Certificate of Approval
GIA is a non-profit, private, post-secondary educational institution incorporated for the purpose of promoting education and research in gemmology, jewellery manufacturing arts and related subjects. GIA’s mission is to ensure the public’s trust in gems and jewellery by upholding the highest standards of integrity, academics, science and professionalism through education, research, laboratory services and instrument development.
