GIA’s Latest Distance Education Quarterly is Available Online
CARLSBAD, Calif. – Sept. 2, 2009 – The Gemological Institute of America’s (GIA) latest Distance Education 2009 Quarterly is now available online.
Besides being easier to access, the digital version of the 2009 August Distance Education Quarterly outlines GIA’s education programs and features videos that demonstrate how GIA Distance Education students can enhance their studies with eLearning. One shows how the Institute and the industry use GIA’s Seven Pearl Value Factors™ to evaluate pearls and pearl jewelry, while the other takes a look at how a single diamond changed history.
Distance Education students can also apply for financial assistance through a GIA Scholarship by completing a scholarship application and submitting it to the Institute on or before Oct. 30.
