A diverse group of nearly 100 scientists and industry professionals brought their newest research to San Diego and presented it during GIA's Poster Session, sponsored by Swarovski.

The posters were displayed at booths and available for viewing during the Gemological Research Conference and the 4th International Gemological Symposium, Aug. 26-29.

Conference and Symposium attendees visited the busy room throughout the events, stopping to discuss – and sometimes get hands-on involvement with – the presenters' research.
