Where are the majority of diamonds found in the world?


Answer: The two primary ways to quantify world diamond production are by total value of the diamonds mined or by total carat weight produced.

Based on total value, currently Botswana ranks first, Russia second, and Canada third. However, based on total carat weight Russia ranks first, Australia second, and Botswana third.
