When you study gemology, you’ll immerse yourself in the magical trek diamonds and colored stones make through the supply chain – from remote mines, to buzzing gem markets, to retail counters around the world. You’ll learn about natural sources and the latest gem treatments. You’ll gain in-depth product knowledge of diamonds, gemstones and fine jewelry. And you’ll acquire the indispensable grading and identification skills needed to be an astute buyer and seller of gems.
