Graduate Pearls Program
Complex, mysterious, and fascinating.
Pearls are truly one of the most unique gemstones on the planet. Timeless and classic, they bring a special elegance and grace to the jewelry industry.
The GIA Graduate Pearls diploma program offers a comprehensive foundation in pearls, the pearl market, and pearl grading. Developed with the generous support of the South Sea Consortium, Perles de Tahiti G.I.E., and the Japan Pearl Exporters Association, this program is where you learn all the product knowledge and grading skills you need to buy inventory, build confidence, and increase profits.
You’ll learn GIA’s 7 Pearl Value Factors™ which help you evaluate, buy, and sell pearls at the retail level. You’ll focus on natural and cultured pearls, and master distinguishing the differences in pearls and be able to effectively communicate the relationship of beauty, benefits, value and quality in your merchandise.
