Eric Carstensen, MBA
With graduate degree in Financial Management from National University and a Bachelor’s degree in Management Science from UCSD, Eric’s background includes over fifteen years of professional experience in the finance and accounting management fields. He has also taught Total Quality Management and Statistical Process Control methods within corporate environments. Eric’s small company experience includes controllership, financial statement preparation and analysis, operational planning, human resources management, and contract negotiations.

Tim Malone, Ph.D.
Tim’s background includes a PhD focused on marketing performance, a Masters in Management and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He has authored professional papers, written and presented numerous business seminars and trained hundreds of business professional in sales and marketing performance improvement. Tim has published articles on merchandising and marketing topics in jewelry trade magazines, and has presented jewelry related seminars at domestic and international jewelry shows and conferences.

David McKinney, Ph.D.
David has over twenty years of experience in teaching business, finance, economics, entrepreneurship, marketing, merchandising, leadership, management and more than 35 years of practical business experience in both the public and private sectors He has been the managing CEO of more than twenty-five businesses and has helped raise significant capital for a number of emerging companies. He has also served as Chicago's Office of the Mayor Director of Planning, as a marketing research analyst, and as a consultant to jewelry and art businesses. He has developed and presented seminars for members of the jewelry industry throughout the world, in addition to having written numerous articles published in various international trade journals.

Vilma Vallillee, Ph.D.
Vilma holds a Ph.D. in Economics and Politics from the Claremont Graduate University, Claremont, CA, a Masters of Business Administration degree from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan, and obtained her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Guelph, Guelph, Ontario, Canada. Vilma has published numerous articles on business topics in jewelry trade magazines, as well as conducted jewelry related seminars domestically and internationally. She is a current board member of the Women’s Jewelry Association, San Diego.
