CLASS HOURS (unless otherwise indicated)

  • WEEKDAY classes: 8am-4pm in Carlsbad, Los Angeles, Lafayette and Tucson; 9am-5pm in New York and other cities; 9am-5pm in Canada
  • (N) NIGHT classes: 5:30pm- 9pm in Carlsbad; 6pm-9:30pm in New York; 5pm-8:30pm in Los Angeles
  • (Sa) SATURDAY classes: 9am-5pm in New York; 9am-4pm in other cities
  • (Su) SUNDAY classes: 9am-4pm
  • Pearl Grading: 8am-3pm in Carlsbad, Los Angeles, and Lafayette; 9am-4pm in New York and other cities
  • Advanced Diamond Grading Lab: 1pm-4pm in New York
  • Identifying Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald: 9am-4pm Monday or Thursday in New York
  • GIA School of Business, Carlsbad
    GIA School of Business classes offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday are 1½ hours each while Tuesday and Thursday classes consist of 2¼ hours of instruction per day.

Industry Hosted Classes
GIA offers Laboratory classes in conjunction with jewelry trade associations and organizations around the United States and Canada. For  more information or to enroll in industry hosted classes, contact the sponsoring organization. Fees, class hours, and enrollment details vary.
