GIA on iTunes U

Viewing material through GIA on iTunes U is easy. But there are a few things you should do before you begin:

  1. Check that your Mac or PC computer meets the minimum technical requirements for running iTunes: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download. If necessary, download or update iTunes software from Apple, Inc. using the link above.
  2. Familiarize yourself with the iTunes environment by taking the iTunes 101 tutorial found under the "New Users" tab of this link: http://www.apple.com/support/itunes_u. Obtain a GIA user ID and password if you do not already have one. (You'll use the same ID and password for GIA on iTunes U that you use to sign into My GIA.) Register here.

Now it's time for you to launch GIA on iTunes U:

  1. Go to My GIA.
  2. Log on using your unique GIA user ID and password.
  3. In the "Resources" box, click on “Go to GIA on iTunes U.” This will validate your ID, open iTunes, and take you to the GIA on iTunes U landing page.
  4. Select the icon of the subject you wish to view. Click “Subscribe” to download the most recent segment to your computer. (Don't click "Get Tracks" or it will take too long to load.)
  5. In your iTunes Library, click on “Podcasts”. The blue bullets identify newly downloaded episodes.
  6. Click on “iTunes Store” to get back to GIA on iTunes U.

If you have difficulty accessing materials, e-mail your questions to: iTunesUsupport@gia.edu. We'll try to answer your questions within 72 hours.

You are now ready to advance your knowledge with GIA on iTunes U.
