GIA Hong Kong

Courses and Programs are taught in: Cantonese, Mandarin and English

Studying at GIA Hong Kong

Established in 1994, GIA Hong Kong is located in the heart of Asia's largest trading center for diamonds, gems, and jewelry. This makes GIA Hong Kong an appealing place for students from many countries - such as India, Pakistan, Indonesia, and the Philippines- to study gemology.

Studying at GIA Hong Kong offers an exciting backdrop for students. Past students have visited a diamond cutting factory in China, as well as major auction houses Christie's and Sotheby's.

Education at GIA Hong Kong is offered On Campus, through Distance Education, or in Lab classes. Courses are taught in Cantonese, Mandarin and English and are available during the day or at night.

Make great friendships and industry contacts - your peers.

At GIA Hong Kong, you'll receive an internationally renowned gemological education, and you'll also make international friends and contacts. Nearly a third of students at GIA Hong Kong are from other countries, such as Singapore, Malaysia, Mainland China, Indonesia, Philippines, Australia, India, New Zealand and Macau. That means your trade network will reach beyond the borders of your country.

About Hong Kong

China's rapidly growing jewelry market is poised to quickly reward those with proper training. Hong Kong is Asia's largest trading center for diamonds, gems, and jewelry, and it is also one of the world's main fashion and finance locales. In addition, one of the largest jewelry manufacturing cities in China, Shenzhen, is only 40 minutes away from Hong Kong by train or bus. Trips are also possible to other large cities in China, including Shanghai, Guangzou and Panyu.

Visit the GIA Hong Kong website for the complete course or program schedule, or to apply.
