GIA Thailand

All courses and programs are taught in English.

Studying at GIA Thailand

The GIA Thailand campus is located in Bangkok, near the heart of the country’s gem and jewelry industry. Here, you have a unique opportunity to train at GIA Thailand and, at the same time, explore this important gem and jewelry market. You can even apply your GIA education in the marketplace.

At GIA Thailand, you gain access to an extensive gemstone collection. Under the guidance of trained professionals, you quickly develop the skills you need to quality grade diamonds, and identify natural, synthetic, imitation and treated gemstones. GIA Thailand also offers an on campus jewelry design class.

And, if you study on campus at GIA Thailand, you can take advantage of the free field trips to diamond cutting factories, gem mines, and gem cutting and trading centers.

About Thailand

Thailand is long known as the world capital of ruby and sapphire, and a major market for colored gemstones. In fact, ruby buyers from around the world come to Bangkok to make their purchases. Thailand is also a major diamond cutting and jewelry manufacturing center.

From Bangkok, you can easily reach Thailand's beautiful countryside and its tropical islands with pristine beaches. You can also visit mountain villages, or play at world class golf courses. You can choose from a wide range of hotel and housing accommodations in Bangkok and at the many resort areas.
