My GIA

Seats still available in GIA's Graduate Jeweler diploma program beginning June 18 at GIA's World Headquarters and Robert Mouawad Campus. Enroll online now or call 1-800-421-7250 ext. 4001.

This program is for those who want to be able to sit confidently at a jeweler’s bench or judge the talent of those who do. If you want to enter the creative field of custom jewelry design and manufacturing, you need to know everything from metal working and fabrication to stone setting and repair.

When you complete this program, you have more than a mere understanding of custom jewelry manufacturing. You’ll have a professional bench jeweler’s fundamental skills. You’ll understand metal working, fabrication, jewelry repair, and stone setting. The Graduate Jeweler Diploma Program is all about the practical skills that lead you into the jewelry industry’s creative side.

By the end of six months, you will feel comfortable and confident sitting at a bench, working with jewelry. But even if your ultimate goal isn’t to become a professional bench jeweler, the skills you learn here will help you communicate with your vendors, your clients, and even your employees. You’ll speak the language, and you’ll know what it takes to create a piece, how long, and for how much. So even if you don’t always want to sit at a bench – it’s nice to know you can.
