Following are the “Terms and Conditions” under which you may use GIA Career Services or the GIA Career Services web page.  Please read these carefully and use this website and service only if you accept the Terms and Conditions stated here.  GIA may revise the Terms and Conditions at any time.  The terms “you” and “user” as used herein refer to all individuals and/or entities accessing this website and service.  The GIA Career Services department’s objective is to provide a quality venue with our website through which employers and job seekers may contact one another.  Therefore, we endorse and expect honest communication from and between all users so that our website may continue to be a valuable and beneficial service for both employers and job seekers.

GIA makes no claims that the materials may be lawfully viewed or accessed outside the United States .  Access to the materials may not be legal by certain persons or in certain countries.  If you access the website from outside the United States , you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction.  GIA reserves the right to determine whether to continue or alter the Career Services website and services.

Employers posting positions on GIA’s Career Services job database:

• GIA expects that the information you provide regarding your company is authentic and in no way deceptive to applicants.
• GIA may discontinue postings at its discretion, for any reason or no reason.
• GIA does not endorse or recommend individual candidates and is not responsible for the quality of applicants to your company.  Employers should use the same screening process used with Non-GIA referrals.

Job seekers responding to positions posted on GIA’s Career Services job database:

• GIA does not screen or sensor the listings offered on the website and is not involved in the actual transaction between employers and candidates.  Therefore, GIA is not responsible for, and is not involved in any employment decisions made by companies listed on our website.
• GIA makes no claims and has no control of the authenticity, accuracy, reliability, completeness, timeliness, legality, or safety of the jobs posted.  In addition, note that there are risks, including but not limited to, the risk of physical harm, of dealing with strangers, foreign nations, underage persons, or people acting under false pretenses.  You assume all risks associated when dealing with those whom you contact through the website and services.
