Brazilian Gemstones in 18th Century Jewelry: The use of gem materials throughout modern history. The diamond deposits of Minas Gerais and how they influenced the jewelry industry. Colored gemstones that took the "diamond routes" to Europe.Gems that were extensively used in the mid-18th century in the Crown Jewels and Insignia, plus quotidian and devotional masterpieces.

Colored Gemstone Industry Today - Challenges in a Changing World: Changes in the colored gemstone industry's supply, source, processes, new technologies, enhancements, treatments, process disclosure and nomenclature issues.
