GIA International Alumni Awards for 2008

The new awards program will recognize two individuals at our event in Tucson each year.
The two awards are:

  • GIA International Alumni Achievement Award (member)
  • GIA International Alumni Leadership Award (chapter officer)

Chapter Officers: How do I nominate my chapter members for these awards?

  • Please contact your chapter members for nominations, based on the criteria listed below.
  • Have your chapter members vote to determine one Alumni Achievement Award winner and one Alumni Leadership Award winner by July 31, 2008.
  • Contact GIA by Aug. 8, 2008 with the names of your two winners.
  • Once GIA receives names of the winners from all alumni chapters world wide, the Alumni Executive Council and key leadership from GIA Institute Advancement and Education will select two international winners – the International Alumni Achievement Award winner and International Alumni Leadership Award winner - which will be presented in Tucson in 2009.
  • In addition to honoring the two International Award winners, all chapter winners will be introduced and recognized at the Tucson event.
  • Significant publicity will announce the winners in The Loupe, GIA Insider, alum.connect and press releases. All chapter winners will also be listed on the Alumni Web site.
