Thank you for celebrating with us at our Birthday Bash!

If you didn't make it to Tucson this year the 2006 GIA Dance Party and Auction, sponsored by the Alumni Association was a huge success.  More than 425 members, friends and guests bid aggressively on auction items, ate a fabulous buffett dinner, sang Happy Birthday to GIA and danced the night away!  Here are just a few of the Dance Party & Auction photos.

And a huge thank you goes out to all our auction donors.  Thanks to their generosity in donating items for our auction, and to those who feverishly bid on those items, we were able to raise more than $20,000 for the Alumni Endowment Fund. This fund is committed to you, our graduates, and your professional growth by supporting improved chapter functions, noteworthy international speakers, hands-on gemological challenge seminars, equipment for chapter mentors, and more.
