GIA GemFest Basel 2005


Held April 2, 2005, program speakers were:

Dr. Jim Shigley, director of Research, GIA Gem Laboratory, addressing synthetic diamonds, HPHT-treated diamonds and other gemological research issues.

Shane McClure, director of West Coast Identification Services, GIA Gem Laboratory, discussing some of the new, interesting gem materials being seen in the lab.

Bill Boyajian, GIA President, gave an overview of GIA’s progress on important issues facing the industry as they relate to GIA’s Education, Research, Laboratory, and Instrument development efforts.

 

GIA GemFest 6 Carat Points - SmallGemFest 2005 is a forum for cutting-edge information; GIA Alumni who attend
will receive six Carat Points.
